The Elon Musk-owned car company updated its lobbying registration to provide input on the province’s “CleanBC (energy and vehicle) incentive programs to ensure consumer choice and to maintain a fair and competitive marketplace."
CleanBC is the government’s plan to lower emissions by 40 per cent over the next five years to slow climate change. As part of the plan, the province offers rebates that encourage consumers to opt for greener home heating, use energy efficient building designs and buy electric vehicles.
