Toronto-based electronic manufacturing company Celestica registered to lobby the B.C. Ministry of Citizens’ Services last month to discuss how the provincial government can use AI and innovation “to support economic growth and reduce red tape across government,” including “identifying solutions for improving efficiency in government through technology and funding opportunities for companies.”
Celestica manufactures hardware that AI companies need to power their operations. It could become an important part of Canada’s growth strategy as governments push for greater development of domestic AI infrastructure and promise to improve efficiencies by adopting the technology into their daily operations.
