Benedict Cummins-Mburu
Research & Development Associate
Benedict is an incoming fourth-year student at the University of Toronto, where he studies Statistics, Ecology, and Mathematics. His primary academic interests lie in the effective use of geospatial and climate data analysis techniques to answer meaningful questions about biological communities. Some projects he has worked on include using statistically downscaled and de-biasing climate models to forecast salamander populations, and evaluating the potential for recovery from long-term population decline using targeted management strategies. In his free time, Benedict enjoys birdwatching and biking in and around Toronto’s green spaces.
