Sanimax, a rendering company that reclaims and repurposes unused farm waste and ships it across North and South America, updated its lobbying registration to include “Meetings with elected and non-elected officials regarding Bill C-202.”
The bill, introduced by Bloc Quebecois leader Yves-Francois Blanchet, is awaiting royal assent after it passed in the Senate on Tuesday. When enacted, the new law will make it impossible for a minister to negotiate Canada’s import quotas and tariffs for certain agricultural products.
