Beacon AI Centers, a company formed by New York-based Nadia Partners, wants to discuss Alberta Treasury Board and Finance’s proposed levy on data centres.

The company aims “to put Canada at the forefront of the AI and computing revolutions,” according to its LinkedIn page. Beacon AI says it has six shovel-ready projects, covering 2,500 acres, planned for Alberta.
