Canada's lobbying commissioner, Nancy Bélanger, has been reappointed to serve a second term, but a government watchdog group says she has done little over the last seven years to prevent unethical lobbying.

Non-profit government watchdog Democracy Watch is attempting to stop her reappointment, calling her enforcement record “negligently weak,” in a release from Nov. 14.
