Rochelle Becker is a student in Humber College’s Bachelor of Creative and Professional Writing program and holds a diploma in Anishinaabemowin and Program Development from Georgian College. She has previously worked with the Humber Literary Review Spotlight as a handling editor, where she could express her passion for words and make them flow just right.

She is a proud Indigenous woman working as an investigative journalism intern with the IJF’s Residential Schools Database. Raised in the small town of Plattsville, Ontario, Rochelle now travels between Toronto and Bruce County, from the city to the beach, from school to home.

When she isn’t buried nose-deep in data or a novel, Rochelle enjoys spending time with her dogs and cats while sipping on a fresh cup of coffee or spending a relaxing day at the beach.
